Cherry blossoms are a symbol of Japan and the perfect complement to the unique flavor of Kabuki wine.

Вишня - символ Японии и идеальный элемент неповторимого вкуса вина Kabuki

Cherries are a relatively ancient cultivated plant, dating back over 2,000 years. The first cherry trees appeared in the Mediterranean, from where they migrated to Turkey, the Caucasus, and Persia. The ancient Romans brought cherries to Europe.

Traditionally, in Western culture, cherries are considered a symbol of life and joy, and the cherry itself is often called the berry of paradise or a symbol of infinity. Artists and iconographers of past centuries often depicted cherries instead of apples as a symbol of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.

Eastern symbolism also assigns a special role to the cherry tree. For example, in China, the cherry tree is a symbol of good luck, purity, and spring.

But the cherry blossom acquired its most famous symbol in Japan. The cherry blossom, or sakura, known throughout the world, is a symbol of the rising sun and an emblem of the samurai for the Japanese. This is not surprising, as cherry blossoms are a wondrous sight, with the entire tree covered in delicate blossoms. The aesthetic beauty of the cherry blossom came to modern Western culture from Japan.

In Ukraine, the cherry has a special sacred meaning—the "tree of God," a symbol of the native land, the mother. Some researchers claim the word "cherry" is of Indo-Aryan-Slavic origin—"Vyshen," "All-High," "Vishnya." Cherries were cultivated as early as the Kievan Rus' era in the 11th century, when they became the first fruit-bearing tree.

The uniqueness of the cherry tree is that it is one of the first to bloom and become covered with leaves, which is why the cherry tree is often called a symbol of human life.

The sweet and sour taste of cherries perfectly complements desserts and salads.

The nutritional value of cherries is hard to overstate. They contain organic acids, vitamins, pectin, antioxidants, fructose, sucrose, glucose, a huge amount of calcium, minerals, and tannins.

Ancient healers successfully claimed that cherries are a valuable medicinal food. Cherries can remove waste and toxins from the body, calm the nervous system, increase resilience and tone, strengthen blood vessels, improve appetite, and stimulate brain function.

Cherries are often called “heart berries” because they can treat diseases of the cardiovascular system.

And this is not the entire list of beneficial and medicinal properties of cherries.

Cherry has retained all these beneficial properties in wine.

But the most important thing about cherries is their unique flavor, which combines unique opposites—sourness and sweetness. The slightly astringent, sweet-sour taste gives drinks their unique character.

Continuing our discussion of cherry flavor, it should be noted that cherry flavor has two distinct flavors: sour and sweet, which form a unique “almond” flavor combination.

Cherries are found only in red wines. Cherry wine is considered a classic. It is the most popular wine after grape wine.

But the Kabuki brand has managed to infuse a seemingly traditional taste with unique notes, enriching the noble almond aroma of cherry wine. A glass of this wine is perfect for relaxing in good company.
